That includes $650,000 in regular salary and an additional $450,000 in 'deferred compensation.' She also receives a house, a car and other perks. Her total compensation is far less, however, than U of Iowa football coach Kirk Ferenzt who will receive $7 million this year, according to ABC News. Fran McCaffrey, men's basketball coach, will be paid $3.3 million for the coming year (including $300,000 for 'longevity bonuses,' according to the Cedar Rapids Gazette.
